What measures do you have in place to monitor this?
Our company utilises a range of inspection tools.
We have conventional inspection tools (calipers, micrometres, micrometres accurate to one-tenth of a micron, a measuring column accurate to one-tenth of a micron, and gauge blocks), which are regularly calibrated by PMS BECUS.
We have a range of microscopes for optical inspection, including a ‘Marcel Aubert’ microscope, which allows us to inspect at a magnification of 2,000 times.
In addition, we have a ‘LEO ZEISS’ scanning electron microscope, enabling us to inspect at a magnification of 50,000 times, which allows us to detect defects invisible to conventional microscopes, such as micro-cracks 100 nanometres wide.
We also have a ‘ZEISS’ three-dimensional inspection machine.
