We specialise in micro-machining using a range of processes, such as wire and die-sinking EDM, laser micro-cutting, 5-axis micro-milling, micro-drilling and the machining of non-standard materials.

We work for over a hundred clients each year across a range of sectors, including watchmaking, jewellery, cosmetics, medical devices, aeronautics, defence, aerospace, general engineering, the automotive industry, gas and steam turbines, plastic injection moulds, cutting tools and stamping…

We are able to machine all metals, certain ceramics and single crystals, and certain polymers;

-Using electrical discharge machining (wire, die-sinking, micro-drilling), we are able to machine all types of materials, provided they are conductive.

-Using 5-axis micro-milling, we machine a wide variety of materials, including 69HRC steels, polymers, tungsten carbide, certain ceramics and certain crystals…

-For laser micro-cutting, we have technology that enables us to cut all metals, diamond and certain ceramics such as SiC, silicon nitride and boron carbide…

Drawing on our 60 years’ experience in the field of micro-machining, we have developed a wide range of expertise across various sectors and have diversified our operations so that we can always meet your requirements.

For most applications worldwide, users employ brass-based wires, that is, an alloy of copper and zinc. Depending on the type of wire, the proportion of copper and zinc in the core and on the surface can vary from 0 to 100 per cent.

Unfortunately, the use of these wires results in slight contamination of the cut part’s surface with zinc and copper. For applications involving parts used in a vacuum environment or for implantable medical devices, this contamination is unacceptable. For these specific cases, we mainly use tungsten or molybdenum wires, but for certain customers, other tailored solutions can be implemented.
