Vuichard Michel SA has just acquired a 5-axis Matsuura LXo to rise to the challenge.
Founded in 1967 in Jurens, near Valleiry (74 – close to Geneva), Vuichard Michel SA began operations with a major contract for electrical discharge machining (EDM) of ST Dupont luxury lighters, and nearly two million lighters passed through the company’s workshops over a period of 27 years.
The company built up an excellent reputation in the fields of die-sinking and wire EDM, before branching out into micro-drilling in 2000 with two Sarix machines and extensive optical inspection equipment.
